privacy policy.
How we handle information across our website, games, and conversations.
Last updated:Who we are & what this covers
Corv works with game development teams to create and bring games to players. This policy explains how Corv handles personal information when you visit teamcorvus.com, contact us, or use games and related services for which Corv determines how personal information is processed.
A game’s developer, distribution platform, or service provider may independently handle information under its own privacy policy. Where a game has a separate privacy notice, that notice describes the game’s specific data collection and supplements this policy. Publishing a game does not, by itself, give Corv access to all information held by its developer or platform.
For privacy questions and requests, contact hello@teamcorvus.com.
Information we handle
Information you provide. When you email us or request support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to share, such as your name, studio, project, portfolio, correspondence, or details of a technical issue. Please share only what is needed to handle your request.
Website delivery and security. Loading a website involves transmitting technical information, including your IP address, the requested page, and browser request details, to the hosting infrastructure. Infrastructure providers may process request and security logs to deliver the website and protect it from misuse.
Games and related services. The information involved depends on the game and the features you use. For example, multiplayer or platform integration can involve player identifiers and connection information; support can involve diagnostic information you submit. Game-specific privacy information should be consulted for details of any gameplay telemetry, device information, crash reporting, account features, or third-party services. This policy does not mean that every Corv game collects each of these categories.
Platforms. Purchasing or playing a game through Steam or another platform is also subject to that platform’s privacy policy. Payment details provided to a platform are handled by that platform; a purchase does not automatically give Corv your full payment information.
Why we use information
We use information to respond to messages, assess proposed collaborations, provide player support, operate the services you request, investigate technical issues, protect our services, and meet applicable legal obligations. Where a game uses analytics or diagnostics, its privacy notice should explain the information and purpose involved.
Where a legal basis is required, processing must be supported by the basis appropriate to the activity: steps you request before entering a contract or performance of a contract, a legal obligation, legitimate interests subject to your rights, or consent where required. Optional processing that requires consent must be explained when consent is requested, and that consent can be withdrawn.
Retention & security
Information should be kept only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including resolving a request, maintaining a necessary business record, or meeting a legal retention requirement. The appropriate period depends on the information and context. You can ask us about the retention period applicable to your information.
We aim to protect information through proportionate access controls and technical and organizational measures. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other unnecessary sensitive information in support requests.
Your choices & rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Where Türkiye’s Law No. 6698 applies, you may ask whether your personal data is processed, obtain information about processing and its purpose, learn the recipients of transfers, request correction or deletion where the legal conditions are met, request notification of those actions to recipients, object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis, and seek compensation for harm caused by unlawful processing.
Send requests to hello@teamcorvus.com with enough information to identify your request. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing personal information. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also contact the competent data protection authority, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority, where applicable.
Children’s privacy
A game’s age rating and platform rules determine who can use that game. Please do not submit a child’s personal information in a collaboration inquiry. If you believe a child’s information has been provided to Corv without an appropriate legal basis or required parental authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take the appropriate action.
External links
Our website links to services such as Steam, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Those services process information under their own policies when you visit them. This policy covers Corv’s handling of information and does not replace their privacy notices.
